Howard Creek Trail #1372


The Howard Creek Trail begins at Forest Road 9712 and ends at Naneum Creek Trail 1381.

The trailhead is at the highpoint of the trail. From here the trail descends along the headwaters of Howard Creek, crosses the creek, climbs to a bench, passes through several 1970s-era clearcuts, crosses Forest Road 3530 and continues west to its end at junction with Naneum Creek Trail 1381.

Operational Hours: Seasonal motorized closure in effect yearly snowfall through June 15. If conditions permit, this trail may be opened to motorized use prior to June 15 and will be posted open at that time both on the ground and on this site.

Directions:

From Highway 97 at Blewett Pass, go south on Forest Road 9716 to Forest Road 9712, east on 9712 about 4.25 miles past Haney Meadow and to the trailhead.


Parking:

There is parking for 8+ vehicles, but no other facilities.
