Old Ellensburg Trail #1373


The Old Ellensburg Trail begins at Forest Road 9712 and ends at the Forest Boundary.

From Road 9712, the trail crosses Naneum Creek, skirts Haney Meadow, continues through a low saddle, descends to and crosses Howard Creek, then climbs to trail end at Grouse Springs and Grouse Springs Trail #1371.1.

Directions:

From Highway 97 at summit of Blewett Pass, take Forest Road 9716 south to Road 9712, then go east on 9712 to Haney Meadow, and continue 0.25 mile to trailhead in Ken Wilcox Campground.


Parking:

Parking is available at the trailhead in Ken Wilcox Campground, which is a stock camp. Camping and toilets available. Recreation Pass required to park within the campground. Discover Pass not valid on National Forest land.
