Cottonwood Cabin
Directly adjacent to the Entiat River in a mature lodgepole pine and spruce forest, Cottonwood Cabin rests at an elevation of approximately 3,000 feet.
Cottonwood Cabin is 20' x 16', suitable for four people at a time. It is accessible in summer by car. Water is available in the summer via a hand pump.

Cabin amenities include indoor hot and cold running water (Summer months only), propane cook stove, wall heater, refrigerator, and LED lights. Outside is a private shower facility and pit toilet. The water and light system is solar powered. Furnishings include a dining table, lounge chair, futon sofa that coverts to a double bed, and a separate double bed. The small kitchen area is supplied with basic pots, pans, silverware and plates. A picnic table and fire ring is located adjacent to the cabin on the river bank. Visitors are allowed to erect one outside tent at the designated tent pad for additional guests.
Use of the stock corral is available for $20/night. A maximum of four head is permitted. A stock tank and feed bunk is provided. Visitors are required to bring their own weed free hay or pellet style feed for their livestock. Corral must be reserved in advance through the Entiat Ranger Station.
History
Cottonwood Cabin, located 38 miles up the Entiat Valley, was constructed in the 1940's as an administrative site to house fire, trail and campground crew personnel. The facility also includes a barn and corral where the district's stock was kept during a portion of the season for use by the trail crew and lookouts.

Fees: | $90 per night, with a maximum of four occupants. The minimum length stay is two nights for non-holiday weekdays, three nights for a weekend, and three nights for a holiday weekend. Fees are used directly for the maintenance and preservation of the cabin. Maximun stay is fourteen consecutive days. |

Directions:From Wenatchee, WA, travel north on US-97A (west side of Columbia River) for 14.4 miles to Entiat, WA. Just after the bridge turn left onto Entiat River Road (County Road #19) and travel north 37 miles up the Entiat River Road to Cottonwood Cabin. County Road #19 becomes Forest Road 51 at 27 miles. At 34 miles the pavement ends and becomes Forest Road 5100. Continue on to Cottonwood Cabin on the left.
From Chelan, WA, travel south on US-97A (west side of Columbia River) for 19.3 miles to Entiat, WA. Just before the bridge turn right onto Entiat River Road (County Road #19) and travel north 37 miles up the Entiat River Road to Cottonwood Cabin. County Road #19 becomes Forest Road 51 at 27 miles.
