The Fishhook Flat Trail begins at South Fork Taneum Trail #1367 and ends at the North Fork Taneum Trail #1377, crossing over Taneum Ridge in the process.

Operational Hours: Closed to motorized use through June 15 2014 Seasonal closure in effect yearly April 1 through June 15. This trail may open prior to June 15 if conditons permit. It will be posted open on the ground and on this site at that time.
Fees Northwest Forest Pass is not required at trailhead.

General Information

General Notes:

DESCRIPTION: On leaving Trail 1367, this trail climbs steadily

through forest to the top of Taneum Ridge and a junction with

Taneum Ridge Trail 1363. Just past that, it crosses Road 3300,

and begins descending to Fishhook Flat (a meadow). Beyond

there, it continues over a small ridge and descends to a crossing

of North Fork Taneum Creek, and ends at the junction with

North Fork Taneum Trail 1377.

SETTING: Meadow, stream, old-growth trees, ridgetop, riparian zone.
