The trail climbs moderately into Lake-Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness to Williams Lake. It then travels across shale and talus slopes and through an old burned area. Trail ends at the lake. Beautiful alpine larch colors in late September.

General Information

Directions:

From Twisp travel west on Twisp River Road (county road 9114) for 12 miles, until it becomes paved Forest Service Road 44. Drive 2.5 miles,turn left on War Creek Bridge Road, after crossing bridge turn right onto 44w0 road and drive for 3.5 miles, and turn left onto Williams Creek Trailhead.
