Cooper River Trail #1311
The trail begins at the Salmon La Sac Trailhead and travels along the river to Forest Road 4616 near Cooper Lake.
Setting: River valley, old-growth forest.
Though generally a gentle grade, this trail has many up and downhill stretches as it runs through the oldgrowth forest along the river. This trail is a good day hike especially with road access at either end.

General Information
Directions:From Cle Elum and/or Roslyn, take State Highway 903 north to Salmon La Sac, then turn left on Forest Road 4316 and take spur Road 111 to the Salmon La Sac Trailhead. This is also the trailhead for Waptus River Trail 1310 and Polallie Ridge Trail 1309.

Parking, toilets, hitch rails, and stock ramps at the Salmon La Sac trailhead.

Mountain Biking
This trail has many short ups and downs but is generally rideable. A loop can be formed with the Cooper River Road, FS Road 46 to FS Road 4616, by riding upstream on the road and downstream on the trail.
