Grouse Spring Trail #1373.1

The Grouse Spring Trail begins at Forest Road 9712 and ends at the Forest Boundary.

From Road 9712, the trail goes south along a ridgeline on and old jeep trail (this trail is closed to four wheel drive use) passing through alternating meadows and trees. There are some good views from this ridge as the trail winds through the open areas. The last half mile of the trail heads sharply downhill with a grade of 30 to 40 percent to its junction with the eastern end of Old Ellensburg Trail 1372 at Grouse Springs.
