Jack Trout Trailhead


This trailhead provides access to the Jack Creek Trail #1558 and the Trout Creek Trail #1555.  Both of these trails are within Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Permit Info: Alpine Lake Wilderness permit required.  These are self-issuing at the trailhead.

  • Non-motorized, no bicycles. 
  • Campfires prohibited above 5000'. 
  • Maximum group size is twelve (total number of people and stock).
  • Use certified weed-free or commercially processed stock feed only.

Passes: A valid Recreation Pass required at Jack Trout trailhead.

General Information

Directions:

From Leavenworth, WA, head southwest on US-2 West for 0.8 mile. Then turn left onto Icicle Road/Forest Road 7600 and continue straight for about 16 miles. Stay left on Forest Road 7600 after passing Icicle Gorge trailhead, then turn left on Forest Road 615.
