The trail begins at junctions at 6 miles up Eagle Lake Trail #431 and ends at Upper Eagle Lake.

General Information

Directions:

From Twisp take State Route 20 south for 2 miles, then continue south on to State Route 153 to Okanogan County Road 1029 (Gold Creek Loop Road). Turn right onto County Road 1034 (Gold Creek Road), which becomes Forest Service Road 4340. Follow for about 6 miles and turn left on Forest Service Road 4340-300. Follow for 4.6 miles to the Crater Creek Trailhead. Travel  6 miles on Eagle Lakes Trail #431, to just past an overlook with benches, and turn right on the Upper Eagle Lake Trail #431A. (This trail is closed to motorcycles.)
