Big Creek Trail #1341
The Big Creek Trail begins at North Ridge Trail #1321 and ends at Forest Service Road 4110-111.
Setting: Stream, riparian zone, large old-growth trees, deep canyon, clearcuts.
This trail starts at the junction of North Ridge 1321 and Tucker Creek 1341.1 on the west side of Big Creek. This is a HIKER ONLY trail to its end at FS Road 4110-111. For the most part the trail stays on the banks of Big Creek, crossing the creek at least 8 times. After the next to last crossing, the trail climbs high on the hillside on the north side of the creek, enters a large clearcut (1987), crosses the creek again, and climbs to its end. This trail is very narrow, rocky and brushy. Creek crossings can be tricky early in the season due to high and swift water.
This trail is not regularly maintained.
