Teanaway Ridge Trail #1364


The Teanaway Ridge Trail begins at Forest Road 9738-120 and ends at County Line Trail #1226.

Trail goes north, climbing and descending along the top of Teanaway Ridge through forest, meadows, and clearcuts, ending at County Line Trail 1226. This trail is very good with occasional brushy areas.

SETTING: Ridgetop, old-growth trees, brush fields, old burn
(1963), clearcuts.

Operational Hours: June - October Seasonal motorized closure in effect yearly snowfall through June 15. If conditions permit, this trail may be opened to motorized use prior to June 15 and will be posted open at that time both on the ground and on this site.

Restrictions: This trail is closed to motorized use between Red Top Lookout Trail #1364.1 and Road 9738-111. From Road 9738-120 to the end of the trail at the junction with Trail #1226, trailbikes are allowed.  All other motor vehicles are prohibited.

Directions:

From Cle Elum travel east and north on Hwy 970/97 approximately 17 miles and turn left on Forest Road 9738, follow 9738 west to Road 9702, follow 9702 south, then north to the trailhead just under Red Top Mountain, about 7 miles from Highway 97.
