General Notes:

Trails on the Naches Ranger District are groomed for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing by the Naches Ranger District.  For a list of trails, maps and a grooming schedule go to winter recreation Washington State and click on Parks and Recreation.  Once there, go to non-motorized Sno-Park locations and click on Greenwater/Yakima.  From this point you’ll see a map with all the Non-motorized Sno-Parks.  Click on the park name and you will get an outstanding map and all kinds of other information.

XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

On Forest Service Road 1207 a base is set for approximately 4 miles to Scatter Creek Trailhead. The marked trails and road offer approximately 26 kilometers (16 miles) of easy cross-country skiing.
