From Twisp drive west on Twisp River Road (county road 9114 ) for about 10 miles, turn left onto Forest Service Road 43, crossing Buttermilk Bridge across Twisp River, stay to the left and follow the 43 road for about 8 miles, turn left into campground on the north end of the lake. Note: This is the best route to the campground from Twisp River Road (County Road #9114), as the Poorman Creek route is very, very narrow, and not recommended for trailers.
Paved, scenic trail with little elevation gain, suitable for wheelchairs. The trail begins at boat launch area.
Trash receptacles provided at campground.
