Twisp River Sno-Park
Forested Sno-Park parking gives access to groomed snowmobile trails around Twisp River area from Dec. 1st to April 1st. When snow melts out, this parking area gives access to the Twisp River Trail #440, going the length of Twisp River, 15 miles, to Gilbert Trailhead near North Creek.

General Information
Directions:From Twisp, Washington, drive west on Twisp River Road (Okanogan County Road 9114),at about 10 miles turn left onto Buttermilk Creek Road (county road 1090) which crosses a bridge across Twisp River, follow the road to the right onto the road that becomes Forest Service Road #4420 to Twisp River Sno-Park, about 2.5 miles from bridge.

Mountain Biking
In the summer months this provides a good parking area for mountain biking as this is the beginning of the Twisp River Trail #440 Or travel 2.5 miles to road #4430 junction, turn right, cross War Creek Bridge over Twisp River to junction with paved Twisp River Road (forest road #44) and get onto the Twisp River Trail across the road from the bridge road.
Road Cycling
In the summer months this provides a good parking area for road cycling as there is usually light vehicle traffic. Travel 2.5 miles to road 4430 junction, turn right, cross War Creek Bridge over Twisp River to junction with paved Twisp River Road (forest road #44).
XC Skiing/Snowshoeing
No groomed cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing trails.
Snowmobiling
Plowed parking area large enough for snowmobile trailers. Groomed snowmobile trails available to the end of Twisp River on both sides of Twisp River.
