Wolf Creek Trail #527
Trail enters Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness and follows the valley bottom 10.3 miles to the meadows beneath Mt. Gardner. The route is mostly in timber, broken by occasional meadow areas. The trail follows the banks of Wolf Creek most of the way. There are 3 non-maintained trails that connect to this trail for those who want to explore. North Fork Wolf Creek Trail, Abernathy Trail and Hubbard Creek Trail, all were old stock driveways.

General Information
Directions:From Winthrop drive State Route 20 to bridge crossing Methow River on south end of town. Cross the Methow River bridge and turn right onto Twin Lakes Road (county road 9120). Drive 1.5 miles and turn right onto Wolf Creek Road (county road 1131). Drive 4.5 miles, turn right onto gravel Left Fork Wolf Creek Road (county road 1145) drive 0.25 mile and go straight onto gravel Forest Service Road 5505 and follow road about 4.5 miles, turn to left downhill to the signed Wolf Creek trailhead.
