Hereford Meadows Trail #1207

The Hereford Meadows Trail begins at Shoestring Lake Trail #1385 and ends at Manastash Ridge Trail #4W306.

From the trailhead, which is at a high elevation, approximately one mile from Quartz Mountain, the trail generally descends south to the junction with Shoestring Lake Trail 1385. The trail somewhat parallels South Fork Manastash Creek but is seldom within sight of the creek.

At a Glance

Operational Hours:	Seasonal motorized closure in effect yearly snowfall through June 15. If conditions permit, this trail may be opened to motorized use prior to June 15 and will be posted open at that time both on the ground and on this site.

Directions:

From I-90 take exit 101. Turn south, travel 2 miles, turn right on Cove Road. Continue 4 miles to Manastash Road. Turn right on Manastash Road, which becomes FS Road 3100. Trailhead is at end of road.

Parking:

The trailhead is undeveloped, but there is room for 5 or more vehicles.
