Jefferson Lake Trail

This 0.5 mile trail travels to Jefferson Lake, a peaceful lake that was formed during an ancient earthquake that created a rock dam at the outlet. Wildlife viewing and fishing are popular activities at this lake.

General Information
Directions:From Hoodsport, WA travel 14 miles north on Highway 101 to Hamma Hamma River Road. Take a left on Hamma Hamma River Road/Forest Service Road 25 and follow for 6.5 miles to the junction of Forest Service Road 2480. Turn left and travel 3 miles to the Forest Service Road 2401 and turn right on Forest Service 2401. Travel approximately 7.5 miles on Forest Service Road #2401. Jefferson Lake Trailhead will be on your left.
