Grouse Campground
Grouse Campground is situated along the shore of Goose Lake, among an Engelmann Spruce and Lodgepole Pine forest at an elevation of 6,350'. Each of 21 sites includes a picnic table and fire ring. There is typically a volunteer camp host and potable water available on site.
12 sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while another nine sites can be reserved up to six months in advance at: recreation.gov. The Interagency Pass and Golden Age Passport are accepted at this site. The campground has no hookups or trash receptacles. Please pack out your trash.
There is a boat ramp adjacent to the campground. The Lake has a "no-wake" restriction however motorized use is permitted.

General Information
Directions:From McCall, travel five miles west on Highway 55. Turn right on Goose Lake Road/Forest Road #257 and proceed nine miles north. Turn left at the Grouse Campground sign onto Forest Road #273 and continue 1/4 mile to the campground.
