This ten unit campground is located approximately ten miles northeast of Portola, California.  Tables, vault toilets, and fire rings are available.  Water and garbage service is not provided.

This campground is located adjacent to the historic Crocker Guard Station.  This station will be remodeled over the next few years to become a recreation rental facility.

This campground is popular in the fall for deer hunters.

General Information

Directions:

From Portola, California, take Highway 70 east for five miles to County Road 111 at Beckwourth.  Proceed north for approximately ten miles to the campground.

This is a popular deer hunting campground.
