Built with equestrians in mind, this trailhead is located in the Granite Basin Recreation Area and provides access to:

If you plan to visit and want to make sure it is open, please contact the Bradshaw Ranger Station: 928-443-8000. When the office is closed, please check the right-hand column under "Alerts and Warnings" to see if there are weather-related closures, and follow the link to see if this site is closed or on a reduced schedule.

General Information
Directions:Directions to Site from the corner of Iron Springs Rd. and Williamson Valley Rd in Prescott: Northwest on Iron Springs approximately 3 miles. Right on Granite Basin Rd. Follow road 2.5 miles. Cayuse is on the right.

- Parking area accommodates average vehicles and has ample parking for horse trailers.

Horses are allowed on all trails in the Granite Basin Recreation Area as well as those on Granite Mountain.
