Has 19 campsites with parking areas at least 30' long at 9200' elevation. Sites 12 and 13 have been developed for handicapped accessibility. The camping season begins in early May and continues into September. Facilities include tables, fire grates, two disabled accessible vault toilets, and trash collection. NO POTABLE WATER AT THIS TIME

The camping fee is $20.00 per night/ per site. Standard, non-electric site.
Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends and a 3 night minumum stay on holiday weekends for family sites. An additional fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles. Horses are not permitted on trails.

Rocky Mountain Recreation Company
Firewood is for sale at the campground. Because of its location in bear country, all food, coolers and toiletries must be stored inside an enclosed vehicle at all times to prevent bear conflicts. Limited site reservations can be made at least 4 days in advance and no more than 240 days prior to arrival by calling 1-877-444-6777 or logging onto www.recreation.gov. There is a reservation fee.
From Colorado Springs, Colorado, travel west on Hwy 24 for about 24 miles to Woodland Park. Turn north on Baldwin (which turns into Rampart Range Road). Go about 2 miles to Loy Creek Road turn right and then to FDR 300 turn right (Rampart Range Road). Follow signs. Rampart Reservoir entrance is about 4 miles further on the left side of the road.
