South Meadows Campground


This campground is located approximately 5 miles north of Woodland Park.  There are paved roads within the campground connecting the 64 sites. Each site has a firering and picnic table.  This campground is adjacent to the Centennial Trail, a paved trail between Manitou Lake and the town of Woodland Park.  Reservations are recommended between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Restrictions: Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum holiday weekend stay. An additional fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles.  Pets must be leashed.

General Information


From Colorado Springs, Colorado, travel west on Highway 24 for approximately 25 miles to Woodland Park. From Woodland Park travel five miles north on Highway 67 to the South Meadows Campground.


There is a parking lot for the 4.2 mile long asphalt paved Centennial trail which connects all campgrounds along highway 67 with Manitou Lake. Parking areas up to 30' long.
