La Vista Campground is a developed campground with the following activities: hiking, fishing, and boating. At Lake Isabel, activities include non-motorized boating and fishing. St. Charles Creek is close to the campground and may be fished. Access to motorized and non-motorized trails including Cisneros, St. Charles, and Snowslide.
Campsites #1 through #10 are tent-only sites.

$20.00 fee per campsite at #1-10; $24 fee per campsite at #11-29 for overnight camping. Two (2) vehicles or one (1) RV per site is included in the camping fee. $6.00 for a third vehicle.

Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available.
First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the SAME NIGHT.
Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholder: 50% discount off the camping fee only.

The following restrictions apply to this campground:
Maximum 8 persons per site: 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle.
Dogs must be leashed at all times.
No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.
Potable water. Limited water available - no water hookups

The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
During peak season, the campground is a full-service campground. Pre- and extended seasons have reduced services such as vault toilets, water, trash, or a host may not be available.
Also during peak season, the camground receives heavy use on the weekends and holidays. Please make your reservation for campsites #11-29 as early as possible. During the pre and extended season, sites are assigned on a first come first serve basis. Please see the concessionaire located inside the campground.
Campsites #1-10 are first-come, first-serve campsites. No reservation is required for these campsites.
Directions: From Pueblo, go 25 miles south on interstate 25 to exit 74. Go west 18 miles on state Hwy 165. Turn into the south entrance at Lake Isabel, go about 1 mile and look for the La Vista campground signs. Located in South Central Colorado 43 miles southwest
Camping & Cabins
29 campsites, 19 are RV accessible with a spur length of 50 feet. A horseshoe pit, water from a handpump, fire grates, picnic tables, accessible toilets and trash receptacles are located in campground. Firewood is available for sale at the site. Electric RV hook ups. Roads are paved.
