A developed campground with the following attractions: hiking, fishing and boating. On Lake Isabel only non-motorized boats are permitted. St Charles Creek runs through the campground and may be fished. Access to motorized and non-motorized trails including Cisneros, St. Charles, and Snowslide.

Restrictions: Reservations for 10 of the 15 sites is required and made by calling 1 877 444 6777 or using the website of: www.recreation.gov  A non refundable reservation fee will be assessed. Reservations may be made up to 360 days prior to your arrival or as late as 4 days prior. During the summer, the site receives heavy use on the weekends and holidays. Please make your reservation as early as possible. 5 sites are available on first come / first serve basis.

General Information

Directions:

From Pueblo, go 25 miles south on interstate 25 to exit 74. Go west 18 miles on state Hwy 165. Turn into the south entrance at Lake Isabel, go 1 mile and look for the St Charles campground signs.

Campground Camping

15 campsites, all are RV accessible for small trailers. Restrooms and trash receptacles are located in campground. Firewood is available for sale at the site. No RV hook-ups. This campground is suitable for RV's and tents. Sites are 1 mile from the lake. Roads are paved.
