St. Charles Campground is a developed campground with the following attractions: hiking, fishing and boating. On Lake Isabel only non-motorized boats are permitted. St Charles Creek runs through the campground and may be fished. Access to motorized and non-motorized trails including Cisneros, St. Charles, and Snowslide.
Reservations for ten of the 15 sites are required. Five sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

$18.00 fee per site for overnight camping. Two (2) vehicles or one (1) RV per site is included in the camping fee. $6.00 for a third vehicle.
$6.00 fee for day use if not camping overnight.
Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available.
First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the SAME NIGHT.
Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholder: 50% discount off the camping fee only.
The following restrictions apply to this campground:
Maximum 8 persons per site: 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle.
Dogs must be leashed at all times.
No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.
Drinking water is provided by a well with a hand pump
There is a double vault accessible toilet.
The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
Rocky Mountain Recreation Company
During peak season, the campground is a full-service campground. Pre-season and extended seasons have reduced service such as water, trash, or a host may not be available.
From Pueblo, go 25 miles south on interstate 25 to exit 74. Go west 18 miles on state Hwy 165. Turn into the south entrance at Lake Isabel, go 1 mile and look for the St Charles campground signs.
Camping & Cabins
15 campsites, all are RV accessible for small trailers. Restrooms and trash receptacles are located in campground. Firewood is available for sale at the site. No RV hook-ups. This campground is suitable for RV's and tents. Sites are 1 mile from the lake. Roads are paved.
