Twin Eagles Campground


Area Status: Temporarily Closed

Twin Eagles Campground is 14 miles north of Lake George, off CR 77. It has nine campsites, some of which are walk-in/hike-in, with a maximum trailer length of 22 feet. The elevation is 8,600 feet. Facilities include toilets, tables and fire rings; there is no water or trash service.

Reservations: No reservations at this campground. First come, first served.
Fees: $20.00 fee per site for overnight camping. Two vehicles or one RV per site is included in the camping fee. $10.00 for a third vehicle. $10.00 fee for day use if not camping overnight. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-service fee tube is available. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the same night.

Restrictions:
  •  Campfires are restricted to fire rings only. Be sure campfire is completely extinguished before leaving.
  •  Maximum of eight people per site.
  •  Facility roads are not paved.
  •  No more than a 14-night consecutive stay.
  •  Dogs, including service dogs, must always be leashed.
  •  No discharge of firearms or fireworks
  •  Quiet hours from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Directions:

From Lake George travel west on highway 24 and turn right on County Road 77 toward Tarryall Reservoir.  Travel about 14 miles north on County Road 77 and the campground will be on your right.
