This campground is open year-round and has 13 campsites. TENT CAMPING ONLY at an elevation of 6,200 feet. Full service camping begins Memorial Day weekend in May and continues until Labor Day weekend in September.

Fees
$14.00 fee per site for overnight. Two (2) vehicles per site are included in the camping fee. $5.00 for a third vehicle.
 
$7.00 fee per night off season. 
 
$6.00 day use fee if not camping overnight.
 
Fees are payable by check or money order. Self servicing fee tube is available.
 
Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholder: 50% discount off the camping fee only.

Restrictions:
  • During the winter months, after Labor Day weekend and before Memorial Day weekend, services may be limited.
  • NO SHOOTING; NO FIREWORKS.
  • Dogs much be leashed at all times.
  • Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
Closest Towns: Deckers is 4 miles south along Douglas County Road 67. Denver/Morrison is approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive northeast of the campground via US Highway 285.
Water: NO WATER
Restroom: Portable toilets available during summer season
Passes: The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
Operated By: The Rocky Mountain Recreation Company manages all campgrounds on the South Platte Ranger District.

General Information

Directions:

From Denver:
Take U.S. Highway 285 to Pine Junction. Take south on Jefferson County Road 126 and drive for approximately 25 miles to Douglas County 67 at Deckers. Campground is located 10 miles north of Deckers on the left hand side.

From Sedalia:
Take U.S. Highway 67 from Sedalia to Sprucewood. Stay on 67 South (straight) until you reach pavement at the South Platte River. Go 4 mile nouth to Osprey Campground, which is on the left hand side.


General Notes:

No host on site. Host is located at Lone Rock Campground. Firewood available for sale from host.

This campsite has NO picnic tables.
