This campground has 13 campsites for TENT CAMPING ONLY at an elevation of 6,200 feet. It is open year-round. However, full service camping begins Memorial Day weekend in May and continues until Labor Day weekend in September.

This campground does not have picnic tables nor water. It does, however, have trash service during peak season.

Fees
$14.00 fee per site for overnight camping. Two (2) vehicles per site are included in the camping fee. $5.00 for a third vehicle. 
 
$7.00 fee per night off season. 
 
$6.00 day use fee if not camping overnight.
 
Fees are payable by check or money order. Self servicing fee tube is available.
 
Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholder: 50% discount off the camping fee only.

Restrictions: REMEMBER! You must be in a designated campground to stay overnight. Fires are permitted ONLY in the campgrounds, no fires are allowed in the picnic areas. NO SHOOTING ALLOWED! Much of the property along the river is privately owned. Please respect the posted signs.
Closest Towns: Deckers is 4 miles south along Douglas County Road 67. Denver/Morrison is approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive northeast of the campground via US Highway 285.

Passes: The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.

Directions:

From Denver:
Take U.S. Highway 285 to Pine Junction. Take south on Jefferson County Road 126 and drive for approximately 25 miles to Douglas County 67 at Deckers. Campground is located 7 miles north of Deckers on the left hand side.

From Sedalia:
Take U.S. Highway 67 from Sedalia to Sprucewood. Stay on 67 South (straight) until you reach pavement at the South Platte River. Go 1 mile nouth to Ouzel Campground, which is on the left hand side.


General Notes:

No host on site. Host is located at Lone Rock Campground. Firewood available for sale from host.

This campsite has NO picnic tables.
