This campground has 11 campsites for TENT CAMPING ONLY at an elevation of 6,400 feet. Full service camping begins Memorial Day weekend in May and continues until Labor Day weekend in September.

Fees
$15.00 fee per site for overnight camping. Two (2) vehicles per site are included in the camping fee. $5.00 for a third vehicle.
 
$14.00 fee per night off season. 
 
$6.00 day use fee if not camping overnight.
 
Fees are payable by check or money order. Self servicing fee tube is available.
 
Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholder: 50% discount off the camping fee only.

Restrictions: Tents Only. REMEMBER! You must be in a designated campground to stay overnight. Fires are permitted ONLY in the campgrounds, no fires are allowed in the picnic areas. NO SHOOTING ALLOWED! Much of the property along the river is privately owned. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
Closest Towns: Deckers is 4 miles south along Douglas County Road 67. Denver/Morrison is approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive northeast of the campground via US Highway 285.

Restroom: Vault toilet
Passes: The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
Operated By: The Rocky Mountain Recreation Company manages all campgrounds on the South Platte Ranger District.

General Information

Accessibility:

Campsite #10 is wheelchair accessible.


Directions:

From Denver:
Take U.S. Highway 285 to Pine Junction. Take south on Jefferson County Road 126 and drive for approximately 25 miles to Douglas County 67 at Deckers. Campground is located 4 miles north of Deckers on right hand side.

From Sedalia:
Take U.S. Highway 67 from Sedalia to Sprucewood. Stay on 67 South (straight) until you reach pavement at the South Platte River. Go 1 mile south. Campground is on  left hand side.


General Notes:

No host on site. Host is located at Lone Rock Campground.

Maximum number of people per campsite is 8. There is a 14-day stay limit. Vehicles must be parked in established site. No vehicle parking behind barriers. 

Please be careful with your campfire. In the campgrounds, fires must be in the ring/grate provided.
