Pike Community Group Campground

  

This campground has a capacity for 150 people and provides picnic tables, group fire grates, drinking water, a campfire circle, trash dumpsters, vault toilets, a children's play area, sand volleyball court, softball field, and horseshoe pits.

Reservations: Phone 877-444-6777 or visit www.recreation.gov at least 4 days in advance. Friday and Saturday night minimum required stay on weekends. 3 nights minimum on holiday weekends.
Fees Fees are as follow:
  • 1 to 50 people - $75.00,
  • 51 to 100 people - $125.00, and
  • 101 to 125 people - $150.00
This campground was developed for group camping, but may be reserved for day use at the overnight use rate.

Restrictions: The following restrictions apply to this campground:
  • Must occupy the site within 24 hours of reservation.
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
  • Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
  • Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.

Information Center: The campground receives heavy summer usage during the weekends and holidays. Most activities are centered around the facilities found on the site. The Centennial Trail is located across Highway 67 and can be used to access Manitou Lack Picnic area.

General Information

Directions:

From Colorado Springs, travel west on Highway 24 for approximately 25 miles to Woodland Park. From Woodland Park travel 5 miles north on Hwy 67. Pike Community is located directly across from South Meadows Family Campground on the right side of the road.


Accessibility:

The road is accessible to all types of vehicles.
