General Information

Accessibility:

Lost Park Trailhead is open year round, however access very difficult in the winter months. County Road 56 has no winter maintenance and is seasonally closed from March 2 - June 16.


Directions:

From Fairplay travel north on US Highway 285 to the town of Jefferson.  Turn right onto County Road 56 and travel about 20 miles to the end of the road where the Lost Park Campground is located.  The trailhead is located just before the campground.  


Parking:

Parking is limited.


General Notes:

Lost Park Trailhead is just outside the Lost Park Campground entrance.  Camping here is first come, first served and reservations are not accepted.
