Kitty Creek Trail #837
Area Status: Open
The Kitty Creek trail is 4.7 miles long. It begins at Forest Road 430 and ends at Highline Trail #832.
This trail goes west, towards the Highline Trail, which is in the vicinity of Sawtooth Mountain. The trail is scenic and maintains a steady steep incline along the creek.
Note: Note: This trail passes through a burned area from a 2013 wildfire. Travel can be difficult, and trees fall across the trail routinely. Route finding and some off-trail travel is required due to downed trees and soil erosion. Use caution traversing this section, especially in high winds. A map and good navigation skills are recommended. This trail has not been maintained recently.
