Foster Bar Campground


Located on edge of large meadow next to the mightly Rogue River. Just downstream is the "take-out" spot for rafter's and fishermen/women floating the Rogue River Wilderness Section. Very historic area - location of the last battle of the Rogue River Indian wars. The Lower Rogue River Trail #1168 accesses the Rogue River for fishing.

General Information


From Gold Beach, OR, take 101 north and turn right on Jerry Flat Road/County Road 595. Take Agness Road (Forest Service Road 33) 20.9 miles, then turn right onto Agness Illahe Road (County Road 375) and go 3.4 miles to to Foster Bar Boating facility.
