Doe Point Campground


This remote and picturesque campground in the midst of old growth forest is adjacent to Fish Lake, offering some of the best fishing in the area. Quiet secluded campsites, there are many group sites for family and friends, which can be reserved A boat launch for Fish Lake (10 mph) is located at adjacent Fish Lake Campground and many amenities are offered at nearby Fish Lake Resort. Numerous hiking trails are within easy access, including the Fish Lake, High Lakes, Brown Mountain, and the famous Pacific Coast Trails, as well as the Sky Lakes Wilderness and Mt. McLaughlin Trail systems. Additional campgrounds nearby include adjacent Fish Lake Campground and North Fork Campground on either side of Doe Point, Whiskey Springs and Fourbit Ford Campgrounds several miles away off OR-821, as well as Fish Lake Resort.

Campground is located on the northern shores of Fish Lake. Some sites have a lake view and there is plenty of shade from the fir and pine trees for those hot afternoons.  Fish Lake is a reservoir which is used for irrigation.  Water levels can be low in August and September.

General Information


From Medford take Highway 62 about 8 miles to White City at the Highway 140 junction.  Travel east on Highway 140 29.9 miles to the Doe Point access raod on your right (south).  Travel 0.4 mile to the campground entrance to the south.
