This trail is TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to ongoing rehabilitation efforts after the 2015 National Fire.
This is an easy hike leading to Boundary Springs, the cool, mossy source of the Upper Rogue Wild and Scenic River. Hikers to this area must use care to protect this sensitive environment. Hikers are asked to not walk on the moss in order to protect this special habitat. Camping is not permitted in this area.
The trail begins 0.5 mile southwest of Crater Rim Viewpoint on the Upper Rogue River Trail #1034. The starting point is at an elevation of 4,900 feet with a gradual incline to Boundary Springs at 5,060 feet.
