Union Creek Campground

  

This picturesque campground in the midst of the Union Creek Historic District and sits in the middle of an old growth forest. Union Creek itself flows through the campground and intersects the Rogue River. This campground offers quiet secluded campsites. There are many reservable group sites for family and friends. Groceries and a hot meal are close by in Prospect Oregon, or within walking distance at Union Creek Resort.

Nearby fishing locations and numerous hiking options are within easy access to the Union Creek and Upper Rogue River Trails. Sites to see include Rogue Gorge and Natural Bridge.

  • Campfires in developed fire pits only
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Dogs must be on leash
  • OHV/ATV use prohibited in the campground with the exception of 3 full hookup RV sites along the OHV trail system.

Passes:
  • Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access.
  • Day use: No passes honored for day use fee.

General Information

Directions:

From Medford, OR travel on Highway 62 towards Crater Lake National Park about 55.8 miles. The campground is to the west (left) traveling through the Union Creek Wayside parking area to the campground entrance.


Accessibility:
  • 2 fully accessible campsite 
  • 5 fully accessible vault toilets
  • 1 fully accessible water source 

Parking:
  • All campsite parking areas are graveled and range from 25 to 40 feet in length.  
  • All campground roads are paved and narrow.  
  • Large vehicles are not recommended in certain areas of the campground due to limited road widths and length of parking areas.
  • There are no pull-through sites available.
