Limpy Botanical Interpretive Loop Trail #1133
The Limpy Botanical Trail is an easy trail located in a botanically rich serpentine area that makes this corner of southwest Oregon so different and biodiverse. Interpretive signs describing the vast diversity of plants found in the area are located along the trail. Springtime offers a nice botanical adventure, full of wildflowers unique to this type of habitat. There is a nice waterfall along the route, with a bench for a peaceful moment of silence or just a nice rest. A number of other benches are located along the trail, creekside, and overlooking the landscape of the area and meadows. Make plans to spend some time enjoying yourself along this trail! There is also a picnic table at the beginning of the trail that offers a nice place to enjoy a snack.

General Information
Parking:The parking area is narrow and long. Three cars can park side by side and a group of hikers with 2 separate vehicles could park behind each other. There is some additional parking off of the main road, but it is limited.
Directions:
Use Limpy Botanical Interpretive Loop Trailhead : From Grants Pass, OR, take Highway 199 to Riverbanks Road on the right just past the bridge crossing the Applegate River. Proceed on Riverbanks Rd. to Limpy Creek Road. The trailhead is approximately 3 miles up Limpy Creek Road.
