Fox Creek Area Trails
Fox Creek Trail System centers around Fox Creek Loop Trail (#149). This loop offers stunning views of the Boulder Mountains to the countless hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians who travel it each day. Scenic shorter loops can be found on Chocolate Gulch Trail.
General Information
Directions:Lake Creek Trailhead: From Ketchum, drive north on Highway 75 for 4 miles. Turn left at the Lake Creek Trailhead. Fox Creek Trailhead: From Ketchum. Drive north on Highway 75 for 6.25 miles. Turn left on to Forest Road (#?) and drive .25 miles to trailhead. Oregon Hulch Trailhead: From Ketchum, drive north on Highway 75 for 7 miles. Turn left just beyond North Fork Store onto Forest Road #143 to start of trail.

The Fox Creek Loop (#149) is a difficult 5 miles/8.1 km. The North Fork Loop (#303) is a difficult 3.1 miles/5 km. The Chocolate Gulch Trail (#312) is a difficult 4.4 miles/7.1 km. The Saddle Trail (#326) is a difficult 2 miles/3.2 km. The Oregon Gulch Trail (#183) and Oregon-Fox Creek Trail (#311) is a difficult 6 miles/9.7 km. The Oregon Gulch Loop (#183, #311, #303, #326) is the most difficult trails and is 9.8 miles/15.9 km.
