Sublett Campground


Area Status: Open

Sublett Campground is a developed campground located two miles from Sublett Reservoir. This is a non-fee, non-reservation campground and picnic area. The campground is composed of 9 individual units that can accommodate up to 40 visitors. This area is accessible for a season that varies usually between June through November. Campground amenities include toilets, 9 tables and grills, RV sites, livestock facilities, and a boat ramp. The campground is well suited for tent and trailer camping. The campground is a pack in/pack out area.

Restrictions: The following act is prohibited within the Minidoka Ranger District: Pursuant to 36 CFR 262.58 (a), camping in any area including a developed recreation site or an undeveloped/dispersed recreation site for more than 14 (fourteen) days in a 28 (twenty-eight) day period.  A camper or a group of persons camping together must move off of National Forest lands within the Minidoka Ranger District for a minimum of 14 days after camping for 14 days.  Campers who remain longer than 14 consecutive days and/or camp more than 14 days within a 28 day period may receive fines under the authority described in Special Order Number: 0414-01-028. Limit 2 vehicles per site, which must be parked on gravel spurs provided.  Do not block traffic.

Directions: From I-84, take exit 245 and go east 13 miles on Sublett Road around the north end of Sublett Reservoir.
