Alturas Inlet Group Picnic Area B can accommodate up to 50 people and reservations can be made by visiting www.recreation.gov or by calling (877)444-6777. This site is located along the sandy shoreline of scenic Alturas Lake, at the foot of the breathtaking Sawtooth Mountain Range. It provides an outstanding setting for weddings, birthdays and celebrations. Summer wildflowers are plentiful, and a mixed-growth conifer forest provides partial shade. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking and hiking in this beautiful natural area. If this area is not reserved, it can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis.
