This group campground is located forty-five miles from San Bernardino, California, at an elevation of 7,224 feet. There are five horse corrals. Amenties include picnic tables, barbeque grill and 1 group fire ring. The nearest showers are at Serrano Markets and restaurants are located in Big Bear. Water available for horses, however water is not suitable for human consumption. Trash pick up services not provided, please bring garbage bags. This facility is "Pack it in. Pack it out". Adventure Pass required for parking anywhere outside of campground within National Forest. Designated parking area capacity 8 vehicles. Campground capacity 25 persons. Coral capacity 10 horses. Fire restrictions vary throughout the year. Campers MUST call either the Big Bear Discovery Center at 909-866-3437 or Arrowhead Ranger Station at 909-382-2782 for the latest fire-related information.
You must have reservations for use of this campground. Reservations are available from May 1 – October 31 by contacting the National Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777 or www.recreation.gov
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Sites may be available on a first come-first served basis outside the reservation season.

Directions: From the Big Bear Ranger Station, turn left on Highway 38 and proceed east for 3.0 miles to Greenway, turn right continue past the airport to the signal at Big Bear Blvd.. Turn right (Big Bear Blvd. is Hwy 38) continue on Hwy 38 for 3.9 miles to Forest Road 2N93. On the opposite side of the road will be Hatchery Rd., turn right on Forest Road 2N93 and continue for approximately 1/2 mile to the second dirt road to your left (this road will not be marked). Proceed up this road 50 yards to Greenspot Group Campground.
