Located three miles north of the Lytle Creek Ranger Station, the campground provides an easy get-away. Trees surround the campsites and Lytle Creek flows across the street at Applewhite Picnic Area. Please use caution crossing the road. This site is accessible.
At a Glance
Campground is closed Tuesday nights and Wednesday nights during the winter months. The Upper Loop is closed for the winter, however the lower loop is open. Please call the Lytle Creek Ranger Station at (909) 382-2851 to check on conditions.
Applewhite Campground is closed from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday to 2:00 p.m. Thursday during the winter months.
No Reservations accepted - First come, first served
$10.00 for a single unit $15.00 for a double unit. Half-price with Senior or Access Cards. A Single Unit is limited to 8 people and 1 vehicle. A single additional vehicle is allowed at an additional cost of $5.00. A Double Unit is limited to 16 people and 2 vehicles. A third and fourth vehicle is allowed at an additional cost of $5.00 per vehicle. The fee is payable at a self-serve station at the entrance to the campground. Check-out time is 2 p.m. the following day. Your campground use fee allows you to walk into the Applewhite Picnic Area for day use purposes (located across the street). Please ask the campground host for a free walk-in pass.
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm - 6:00 am. Pets are allowed on leash only. Dump stations and hookups are not provided in the campground. Please don’t drain your wastewater onto the ground. All vehicles must park on the pavement within your site. The speed limit in the campground is 5 mph. (Please watch for children) Operation of green or red sticker vehicles is not permitted in the campground. Maps of the OHV areas are available at the Lytle Creek Ranger Station for free.
