This small, primitive campsite is located at the end of Road 709, which begins at Highway 107 across the highway from Cherry Hill Campground.  Road 709 is a primitive road which is impassable to some vehicles.

Open Season: All year
Restrictions: Saddle, pack and draft animals are not permitted at any campsite except Riley Moore Ford and Tamassee Camps. When you arrive at the waterfall, stay on dry areas with good footing. Waterfalls can be very dangerous.
Information Center: Primitive campsites are typically sites within the forest that have been designated for use based on desirable location. Most primitive sites have no amenities such as toilets or picnic tables.

Directions:

From Walhalla, drive west on SC 28 for 7.5 miles and veer right onto SC 107. Drive 8.8 miles to the Cherry Hill Recreation Area on the right. The campsite is located at the end of Road 709, which begins at Highway 107 across the highway from Cherry Hill Campground.  Road 709 is a primitive road which is impassable to some vehicles.
