Oscar Wigginton Overlook

  

 Wigginton OverlookNamed for a former mayor of Salem and located approximately 25 miles north of Walhalla, the Oscar Wigginton Scenic Overlook offers a spectacular view of northeastern Oconee and northwestern Pickens counties. Scanning the rolling foothills one can see several lakes, hilltops and other landmarks.

General Information

Directions: From Walhalla, there are two ways to reach the overlook:1. Travel toward Highlands, NC on State Highway 28 to State Highway 107 toward Cashiers. Turn right on State Highway 413 and the overlook is about 1/2 mile on the right.2. Travel north on State Highway 11 to State Highway 130 and turn left. Turn left on State Highway 413 and the overlook is about 2 miles on the left.
