Brooks Lake Campground hosts 13 sites around Brooks Lake. Trails from the campground access the Washakie Wildernes as well as a multitude of recreational mountain lakes.

Water is not available. This site is not accessible to those with mobility impairments. Elevation is 9,200 feet. Maximum spur is 32 feet.

NOTE: Hard sided camping only per Shoshone National Forest Special Order 15-001 . Food storage - be prepared to store your food properly.

General Information

Directions: From Dubois, take US 26/287 north 23 miles to Forest Road 515. Go 4.5 miles north, and bear left at Brooks Lake to the campground.
