Directions:
Take Hwy 41 north from Fresno; continue thru Oakhurst to Road 222. Turn right on Road 222, travel east 3 miles and turn right (Road 222), continue for 3/10 of a mile and bear right again. Travel 7/10 of a mile around the south side of the Lake to the Denver Church Picnic Site.
General Notes:
A seismic retrofit project for the Crane Valley Dam at Bass Lake is underway to improve the dam’s ability to safely withstand seismic events. Until the retrofit construction is completed in 2012, Bass Lake’s water level is lowered ten feet from normal summer operations. Summertime recreation remains open during project construction.
