Horsfall Campground, tucked in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, provides access to miles and miles of dunes, beckoning off-road vehicle riding enthusiasts. The campground sits within a mile of Horsfall Lake, Bluebill Lake and a selection of tranquil ponds. Perks include flush toilets, drinking water and token operated showers. An ATV loading ramp is also available. Picnic tables and grills are at each campsite and there are facilities for dumping gray water.
The number one activity is off-roading on the dunes. Trails and open riding zones are northwest of the campground. See details at Horsfall OHV Staging Area. Due west is the beach and the Wild Mare Horse Trail, open to hikers in addition to horseback riders.
From North Bend, OR, proceed north 1.5 miles to Transpacific Lane. Turn left and proceed 1 mile, turning right across the railroad tracks. Travel 100 feet turning right on Horsfall Beach Road. Proceed half-mile and turn right into the Horsfall Campground and Day Use Area.
