North Fork Smith Trail #1351


This trail takes you on a journey through a temperate rainforest, winding through stands of majestic old growth trees along the North Fork Smith River.

Current Conditions: 03/24/2014: Trail is passable from trail head to first major bridge.(2 miles). This bridge has storm damage & is impassable. Trail washed out at 2nd major bridge 3.5 miles from trailhead. Trail slump (45Ft) & landslide (80ft) across trail at trail mid-point. Over 40 trees down on trail and overgrown brush blocking the trail. First two miles from Trailhead is open and passable. Nature loop open. Expect Winter storm debris down on trail.
