Spinreel Campground is in the heart of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and provides OHV riders with prime access to the expansive off-road trails along the sandy dunes. Drinking water, flush toilets, a picnic area and boat ramp are available for campers. There are no electric hookups or dump stations in this campground.
Nearby OHV routes include Coast Guard Trail and ATV Trail #430. The campground includes OHV dune access from the Spinreel OHV Staging Area and a trail that leads to the beach. The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area Visitor Center, located beside the campground, offers educational programs and ranger-led hikes. It is open year-round, just like the campground, and provides great information on the cultural and geological history of the picturesque dunes.
