Located two miles south of the Ebbetts Pass summit, these unimproved campsites are located in a timbered setting along the banks of the North Fork Mokelumne River near Highland Lakes. Vault toilets on site.

Emergency medical services are available at the Arnold Medical Clinic in the Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold (Calaveras County). Nearest gas, groceries, camping supplies are in Bear Valley, Lake Alpine or Markleeville (Alpine County).
America the Beautiful passes accepted, reduces camping fee to $6.00 per night.
