Mature conifer forest on the North Fork Stanislaus River near Spicer Reservoir.  There are 25 campsites with picnic tables, hand pumped water and vault toilets.

Current Conditions: Calaveras Ranger District (HWY 4)- Open. This campground is first-come, first-serve. Some campsites will be closed due to Hazard Trees.
Reservations: No reservations.  First-come, first-serve.
Fees $12.00 per night, cash or check.
Open Season: Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend
Closest Towns: Emergency medical services available at the Arnold Medical Clinic in the Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold, or at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital in San Andreas (Highway 49). Gas, groceries, and camping supplies are available in Arnold, Camp Connell, and Bear Valley.

Mature conifer forest on the North Fork Stanislaus River near Spicer Reservoir.  There are 25 campsites with picnic tables, hand pumped water and vault toilets. May accommodate R.V.'s up to 35 feet in length.

Campground Camping

Nearby Spicer Reservoir offers excellent fishing, hiking and boating opportunities. Fishing also available in North Fork Stanislaus River. Sandy beach area at southern end of campground. Campground is also close to Union and Utica Reservoirs.
